Naturally, we are proud of all the great things at Hakai Lodge.  The consistent fishing for 35 years, the beautiful scenery, the mild weather, the great facilities and transportation system; but the highlight of the whole experience is our Staff, which includes fishmasters, chef and baker (white uniforms and all), waiters, waitresses, maids and boat boys.  They are professional, courteous, friendly and a delight to be around.

Our chef, "Smitty," returning for the fourteenth year, is only one of six members of a single family who have worked at the Lodge for many years.  A Staff of this great quality makes the difference between an average experience and the "Trip of a Lifetime".

The kitchen is spotless, your rooms are made up daily and fishing boats are cleaned twice a day.  The owner is on-site at all times, and will do everything possible to make your trip pleasant and successful.
