Hakai Lodge is a rustic Fly-in and Boat-in Floating Fishing Lodge tucked away in a remote and secluded cove off of Hecate Island.
The only way in on out is by Seaplane or Boat. There are no roads. You're in a vast, endless coastal wilderness.
 You're fishing some of the richest fishing grounds on the British Columbia Coast called Hakai Pass.

Hakai's fishing boats (Boston Whalers) are the finest in the world, and unsinkable. They are rated by the US Coast Guard to seat up to six adults, though we generally assign you just two to a boat.  

Fishing boats are equipped with:  

  • New outboard motor
  • Padded swivel bucket seats
  • Deluxe rod holders
  • 8-11 foot mooching rods and halibut gear
  • Choice of landing nets
  • Level-wind or single action saltwater reels, your choice
  • Life jackets
  • Insulated bait boxes including
    bait knives and all tackle

Fishmasters

We provide complete on-site training so the novice as well as the experienced has an equal chance in these abundant waters.  After extensive training sessions, you are fishing under the direct care of our fishmasters.
